Adventure Istria   

For fun, adventure and excitement, come and try Istria’s top rated Istrian attraction, the tree climbing, high ropes park, Glavani Park (according to Trip Advisor). Opened in June 2011 by an Englishman, Nigel Simpson and his Istrian friend, Nevenko Bulic, it is located in the village of Glavani, on the road between Barban (6kms) and Vodnjan (10kms).

It is open from 9am until 8pm in the Summer months and from 9am until 5 pm in the winter months. Prices are 120 kuna for adults and older children, and 60 kunas for children under 10 years old. The 113 meter zip wire can be done seperately for 40 kunas. Discounts are available for larger groups and parties.

The Park offers a range of high wire routes and games up in the trees designed to be enjoyed by adults and children of all ages, fitness levels and experience. Last year our climbers ranged in age from a 4 year old up to a 70 year old. The high ropes course culminates in a 113 metre zip line – the ultimate in adrenalin rush. In addition, there is a childrens playground, a small farmyard with rabbits, chickens, goats, cows, sheep, dogs and cats, and a series of woodland walks and paths. There is also a covered seating area, a BBQ, a Pizza oven and a shop selling drinks, snacks and t-shirts, caps, etc.  There are exciting plans for expansion for the 2012 season, including a 10 metre-high rope suspension bridge, a very high swing and additional zip lines. So, even if you have tried the park before, it will be well worth another visit.  The Park has been awarded the highest European Standards and Safety Certification, and has been approved by the Croatian Health and Safety Authority. All of our staff are fully trained in the required aspects of rope work safety, and so, although the course is designed for maximum fun and excitement, the safety of customers is always paramount.
