Outlook Festival is the largest Bass music and Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe, featuring the biggest names from the most vibrant and cutting edge dance scenes around.
When we talk about bass music we don’t mean the bastardised commercial version currently being sold to children, we mean underground dancefloor music, whether it be house, techno, dubstep, reggae, dub, hiphop, garage, grime, electronica. . . . . . as Duke Ellington put it “There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind.”
Now approaching its Fifth year, Outlook has grown rapidly and is going from strength to strength! Anyone who has come to any of the last 4 Outlooks will tell you how amazing the vibe was, how wicked the music was, how beautiful the smiling people were and how stunning the setting is.
And after 4 years of rapid growth we’ve decided to hold things where they are for the time being whilst we iron out a couple of issues and concentrate on making the experience the best we can for our wonderful festival goers.
Outlook launched in 2008 in Petrcane, a rustic little fishing village on the Croatian coast. In 2009 we took over a beach-front Superclub in Novalja on the Island of Pag. The festival’s second year was larger and livelier than the first, but we continued to search for an even more spectacular location.
In 2010 Outlook found what can only be described as the most amazing festival location ever imagined – the magnificent
Fort Punta Christo, where Outlook has now made its home!
In 2011 Outlook had a higher technical specification of staging,
lighting and sound systems than any other festival of its size in the world, and 2012 will be no different.
Fort Punta Christo is an abandoned Fort built in the eighteen hundreds, the stunning location looks like something from a lost world. Located on a peninsular surrounded by the ocean just across the bay from Pula, the venue is the perfect destination for sun-soaked daytime beach parties and on-the-water boat parties…When the sun sets however, the Fort will turn the festival into an entirely diferent beast!! Are – you – ready…?!
